What is the global issue students are trying to tackle in this problem-based learning unit?
The Earth’s population is projected to grow by another 2 billion in the next 30 years. Experts project we will need to produce as much as 56% more food to feed everyone.
Student's task, as Precision Agriculture Consultants, is to choose a local producer in their area, and create a proposal geared towards them. This proposal should include ways the producer can implement agricultural technology in their current practice to become more efficient and effective in their production methods.
